Meghan Markle is facing fresh Hollywood drama after rumours surfaced that she may have upset a major celebrity following the deletion of photos from Kris Jenner’s star-studded 70th birthday bash.
The Duke and Duchess of Sussex attended the glamorous November 8 celebration, and images of the pair were briefly shared on the Instagram accounts of Kris Jenner and Kim Kardashian.
But fans immediately noticed something unusual: the photos featuring Harry and Meghan disappeared shortly after being posted, while all other party images remained online.
Although the Sussexes have not addressed the issue, multiple outlets have suggested the couple, possibly wary of appearing in party shots over Remembrance weekend, may have requested their removal.
Now, speculation is brewing that the decision may have backfired socially.
Writing for the Daily Mail, Alison Boshoff claimed: “Multiple theories, some more credible than others, are swirling.”
“These include that Meghan has made a powerful Hollywood enemy in the shapely form of Kim Kardashian as a result of allegedly asking for the pictures to be taken down.”
Whether the couple actually issued the request remains unconfirmed. But their appearance at the event sparked other controversies, including criticism of Meghan for not wearing a poppy, particularly noticeable next to Prince Harry, who did.
A source close to Meghan responded to the backlash, telling the Daily Mail that poppies “are not widely available in the States, unlike in Commonwealth countries.”
