Andrew’s fall from royal grace has taken another brutal turn as the disgraced Duke moves to shut down his final remaining business venture.
Pitch@Palace, once promoted as a passion project supporting budding entrepreneurs, is now being dissolved, marking yet another symbolic blow to the former prince’s public image and influence.
According to documents filed at Companies House this week, an application has been formally made for the for-profit international arm, Pitch@Palace Global Ltd, to be struck off the register.
The paperwork was signed by its sole director, Arthur Lancaster, while Andrew is still listed as a person with “significant influence or control.”
The news comes after years of controversy surrounding the initiative. Last year revelations emerged that the founder-partner of PitchPalace China, Yang Tengbo, had been banned from the UK and accused of espionage.
Financial records show the company had just £10,965 in cash by March, a dramatic collapse from £220,990 the year before.
Andrew, now stripped of his titles, honours and even his princely status, is preparing to leave Royal Lodge for a smaller home on the King’s Sandringham estate as MPs discuss the terms of his departure.
His public humiliation has only intensified in recent weeks following the leak of a 2011 email to Jeffrey Epstein reading, “we’re in this together,” contradicting Andrew’s long-held claim that the pair cut ties in 2010.
The former prince continues to deny all allegations related to Epstein and Virginia Giuffre, but his downfall shows no signs of slowing.
