Reality TV moguls Kim Kardashian and Kris Jenner have landed in legal trouble.
The mother-daughter duo rose to fame from their family’s reality TV show Keeping Up With The Kardashians after Kim was embroiled in a video tape leak scandal with her then-partner Ray J.
American rapper Ray J has now countersued Kim and her mother after they filed defamation lawsuit against him in October.
In a response filed on November 13, Ray J, whose real name is William Ray Norwood Jr., has accused Kim and Kris of breach of contract for allegedly violating provisions of a $6 million settlement agreement.
In addition, he denied the mother-daughter duo’s defamation claims calling it “a public relations charade”.
The 44-year-old claimed that the reality tv duo is suing “to feed their insatiable appetite for attention, garner support for their various media and marketing enterprises, and exact retribution”.
Ray J claims that the video filmed in 2003 was filmed consensually with Kim.
The rapper is demanding their suit be dismissed and is seeking $1 million in damages plus interest.
