Millie Bobby Brown turns red carpet chaos into viral moment at premiere

Millie Bobby Brown proved she doesn’t take red carpet advice lightly at the Stranger Things season 5 premiere in London on Thursday, November 13.

The 21-year-old actress made a bold statement as she looked stunning in a black corset and flowing tulle gown from Ashi Studio’s Fall 2025 couture collection.

Brown made headlines not just for her fashion, but for her quick-witted clapback, when photographers shouted “Smile!” she didn’t miss a beat and responded instantly.

Pointing at the crowd, the Enola Holmes actress fired back: “Smile? You smile!” before turning sharply and walking off the carpet, her visible displeasure captured in a series of candid snaps.

Notably, the Netflix star accessorised with Aldo pumps featuring a clever nod to her Stranger Things alter ego, “011.”

The Damsel star has been busy promoting the final season of the beloved series, which kicks off with Volume 1 on Nov. 26. 

At the Los Angeles premiere last week, she was accompanied by husband Jake Bongiovi, who looked dapper in a crimson velvet suit. 

She herself stunned in a black lace Rodarte gown with feather detailing, joking to Variety that she was dressed “for the funeral of the show.” 

She later changed into a maroon corset and mini skirt, photographed alongside Bongiovi.

Reflecting on her decade-long journey in Hawkins, Indiana, Brown told PEOPLE that the show gifted her more than fame, it gave her a family. 

For those unfamiliar, Stranger Things wraps up on Dec. 31, and fans will no doubt remember Brown for her fearless performances.
