Ann-Margret, who recently had a fall and broke her elbow, revealed she misses her late husband, Roger Smith.
In a exclusive interview with Parade, the 84-year-old recalled moments with her lover as she said that she misses him a lot.
The iconic actress said, “Oh, God, I loved his sense of humor! Loved it! We would always talk about things that we had done and faux pas that we had made. We laughed a lot. I miss the laughter.”
The duo got married after the TV actor fell in love with the singer and decided that she was the one he wanted to get married to as she didn’t use to bat her eyes at him.
It was also disclosed to PEOPLE previously that the Bye Bye Birdie star knew she would the producer by the third date, claiming she felt protected by him.
Notably, as the dancer’s 85th birthday approaches, she has been more emotionally vulnerable and is also suffering physically as she fell in her home.
For the unversed, Roger passed away on June 4, 2017, at Sherman Oaks Hospital in Los Angeles due to complications of myasthenia gravis, a neuromuscular disease.
