King Charles shared an emotional message about “sacrifice”.

The message was shared in honor of Armistice Day, which is also known as the Day of Remembrance.

The day is celebrated to mark the World War I and remember those who died in war.

In a message shared on the royal family’s official Instagram, the king wrote about the memory of those who sacrificed their lives.

The post was shared with the caption “On #ArmisticeDay we remember the service and sacrifice of all those who lost their lives during war.”

It also mentioned a quotation “When You Go Home, Tell Them Of Us And Say, For Your Tomorrow, We Gave Our Today.”

The Armistice Day is celebrated on November 11 every year to commemorate the end of World War I.

On November 11, 1918, the titular armistice was signed at 5:45 am in Compiègne, in the region of Picardy, France.

Every year, a 2-minute silence is observed at war memorials and in public places throughout the UK and Commonwealth.
