Sarah Ferguson is said to be deeply fearful for the safety of her ex-husband, Andrew Mountbatten Windsor, as the fallout from the Jeffrey Epstein scandal continues to shadow the disgraced royal.
Sources close to the Duchess of York claim the 66-year-old believes Andrew has become a “target” and that “dark forces” may be working against him.
The couple, who still live together at Royal Lodge, their 30-room Windsor home, face eviction in the coming months after both were stripped of their titles and royal privileges.
A royal insider told the Daily Mail: “Sarah, in particular, is panicking about what comes next. She’s not in a good place. She fears being caught in the crosshairs and is deeply worried for herself and her daughters, Beatrice and Eugenie.”
“But she is particularly fearful for Andrew as she knows he was at the centre of the Epstein scandal. She has talked about 'dark forces' potentially targeting him."
The move from Royal Lodge, originally set for October 30, is reportedly being delayed until after Christmas to avoid public scrutiny.
However, insiders suggest Andrew's relocation, and Fergie’s growing anxiety, have cast a dark shadow over the family.
While Sarah is said to be considering spending Christmas abroad, Andrew may face the festive season alone at Sandringham.
