Kate Middleton, Prince William's classmate Ben Duncan dies in rooftop tragedy

Ben Duncan, a former university classmate of Prince William and Kate Middleton, has tragically died after falling from a London rooftop bar. 

The 43-year-old socialite and former Big Brother UK star reportedly fell from the Trafalgar St. James Hotel in Westminster late on October 30, according to the Metropolitan Police.

“Officers responded to concerns for a man on the roof... The man sadly fell from height,” a spokesperson confirmed. 

“Despite best efforts from paramedics, he was pronounced dead at the scene.” His death is being treated as “unexpected but non-suspicious.”

Ben studied at St Andrews University alongside William and Kate.

In a 2010 interview, he fondly recalled witnessing their early relationship blossom, even being present at the famous fashion show where Kate caught William’s eye in a sheer dress.
