Prince William charms Brazil with unexpected TV cameo

Prince William has sent Brazilian fans into a frenzy after making a surprise appearance on national television ahead of the Earthshot Prize ceremony in Rio de Janeiro.

The 43-year-old Prince of Wales, who is in Brazil for three days of high-profile engagements, recorded a personalised video message for Luciano Huck, the host of Brazil’s hit Sunday night show Domingão com Huck. 

In the short clip, filmed selfie-style, William smiles warmly at the camera and says: “Hi Luciano, can’t wait to see you this week. Thank you so much for hosting the Earthshot Prize Awards on Wednesday.”

Dressed sharply in a navy suit and tie, the future King’s brief message immediately went viral across Brazilian social media. Fans flooded comment sections with admiration, with one writing: “Prince William is so charming, Brazil loves him already!”
