Meghan Markle’s latest As Ever holiday collection may have sent fans rushing to shop, but not everyone is impressed.
The Duchess of Sussex’s new launch, featuring a £50 candle, £49 honey jars, and £13 spice kits, has been branded “a royal rip-off” by celebrity chef Jameson Stocks, who accused Meghan of “profiting from her royal past.”
Speaking exclusively to the Daily Express, Stocks didn’t hold back, saying: “Charging £49 for honey is utterly disgraceful and shameful.”
He claimed the Duchess is “exploiting customers” and called her pricing “a royal tax.”
The chef also criticised Meghan’s premium wine range, which includes her 2021 Vintage Napa Valley Brut and 2024 Marlborough Sauvignon Blanc, suggesting they’re “white-label offerings” rather than luxury products.
“Simply placing her logo on a bottle doesn’t make it premium,” he said.
Stocks added: “If Meghan was selling wine and honey as an actress, nobody would care. It’s the royal connection that’s the issue.”
“As Ever is nothing more than a con. Take away the packaging, it’s nothing special, just overpriced.”
