Prince Andrew has reportedly removed his Duke of York personalised car plates in what’s being seen as another humiliating setback amid the ongoing Jeffrey Epstein scandal.
The embattled royal, who recently gave up all his titles and honours to stop “distracting” the Royal Family, appears to have quietly ditched his famous registration plates, AY02 DOY and AY03 DOY, which once adorned his luxury vehicles.
According to the Mirror, Andrew, 65, upgraded his £50,000 Range Rover to a new £115,000 model but chose not to transfer his personalised plates.
DVLA records now show both plates as “unregistered,” suggesting they’ve been taken off the road.
The move follows renewed scrutiny over Andrew’s ties to the late convicted sex offender Epstein.
