Although the 44-year-old was not present at the event, Beyonce’s eldest daughter Blue Ivy accompanied her grandmother.
However, the Renaissance star turned to her Instagram to share a heartfelt message for her mother with a picture of the two stars.
She wrote in the tribute post: “Congrats Mom on your philanthropy award at the Angel Ball tonight.”
On October 27, the author and her granddaughter stunned as they arrived at the 27th Annual Angel Ball at Cipriani Wall Street in New York.
Tina, rocking a black gown, was welcomed at the event as the guest of honour, while the 12-year-old mesmerised everyone by wearing a pink dress for the special evening.
