Chris Evans, Alba Baptista’s newborn baby’s name revealed

Chris Evans and his wife, Alba Baptista, have named their first child Alma Grace Baptista Evans.

The name was confirmed by PEOPLE after news broke earlier today that the couple welcomed their baby girl on Friday, October 24, in Massachusetts.

“They’re enjoying their privacy and these special first few days as a family with their baby,” an insider close to the couple told the outlet.

Evans and Baptista were first linked in January 2022 and kept their romance low-key until reports in November that year confirmed they had been dating “for over a year.”

The pair later tied the knot in September 2023 during an intimate ceremony at a private estate in Cape Cod, Massachusetts.

In a 2022 interview with PEOPLE, the Marvel star reflected that “most of the best artists, whether actors, painters, or writers, are not so proud of their work.”

According to Evans, what truly matters to them “are the relationships, the families they created, the love they found, and the love they shared.”

Speaking to Access Hollywood at the premiere of his film Red One in November 2024, the actor added, “The title of dad is an exciting one.”
