Kate Hudson encourages her three children to stay bold, musical, and rebellious.
The 46-year-old Hollywood star walked the red carpet at AFI Fest 2025 for her new movie Song Sung Blue on Sunday.
While speaking to E! News, the Almost Famous actress opened up about the advice she gives her kids Ryder, 21, Bingham, 14, and Rani, 7.
Hudson said all her children are “musical,” just like their famous family and she wants them to embrace the chaos of growing up.
“Just to make tons of mistakes and have fun and be rebellious. Don't let anybody tell you how to do your thing, you know?
The actress continued to emphasized on her views of raising kids with a good heart.
“Be good people — that's all I care about, and have real self-possession,” Hudson continued.
“I want them to be happy — internally happy — and actually live just a good, like, content life. That's what I want,” she added.
Hudson shares Ryder with ex-husband Chris Robinson. She had Bingham with former fiancé Matt Bellamy, the frontman of Muse. And she welcomed her daughter Rani with fiancé Danny Fujikawa.
For Hudson, rebellion is welcome as long as her kids stay happy and strive to contribute for the betterment of society,
