Glen Powell has opened up about the challenges of fame based on his own experience.
The Top Gun: Maverick actor is exhausted by strong public perception after massive Public recognition, according to The Guardian.
He cleared the reason, “On a movie set, you have your head down, you’re collaborating with people, it feels very ordinary.”
The 37-year-old elaborated he loves to be part of a team, working in a detailed process carving something really cool, “I’m not exhausted by that – it’s fun.”
Beside this, the thing that irritates him is the real world that became unreal over time due to his fame.
"But the part that I’m getting used is this other thing [fame] ... I’m still figuring it out."
The Anyone But You actor continued that he always wanted to be with his family in his native state, Texas, where his friend’s old friends are, although he has friends in Los Angeles, but they can visit him in his hometown.
Glen further declared he worries about making a mistake and becoming a highlight in some sort of scandal.
"Oh, it’s inevitable. It’s not an if, it’s when. It’s been an adjustment. I try to be honest, work really hard, and treat people well – that’s how I try to move through my life.
"Inevitably, you’re going to catch some strays. But that’s the nature of the job and I’ve watched it happen to other people.” he concluded.
