'Saturday Night Live' did not air new episodes of the show this weekend
Saturday Night Live is taking a short break after the first three episodes of the 51st season, and will return next month.
The sketch comedy show has skipped the final week of October after a strong opening with Bad Bunny, Amy Poehler and Sabrina Carpenter hosting the first three episodes respectively.
In the upcoming episode on November 1st, the long-running show will be presented by Fantastic Four actor Miles Teller, with the eleven-time Grammy winning musical guest Brandi Carlile.
Meanwhile in the weeks leading up to that comedian Nikki Glaser will host the beloved show with the musical guest being the Back to Friends hit maker Sombr.
On November 15, the Chad Powers star Glen Powell is set to mark his first time hosting with the musical guest being English singer Olivia Dean.
The re-run episode this week allowed fans to recap the Latin icon’s hosting, as well as revise the debut of the new SNL cast members Tommy Brennan, Jeremy Culhane, Ben Marshall, Kam Patterson, and Veronika Slowikowska.
Notably, the cast shakeups by SNL this year had become a major topic of debate, since a lot of beloved members parted from the show.
