Lewis Capaldi, known for her emotional ballads, is back and breaking hearts once again.
The 27-year-old Scottish singer released his latest single, Almost, on Friday, marking the third offering from his eagerly awaited EP, Survive.
After the soul-stirring title track Something In The Heavens, the new song has been described as a raw and intimate dive into the struggle of moving on, or at least trying to.
Fans have already been tearing up to lines like, “I swear to God I’m almost alright, I only think about you all the time.”
The Survive EP, set to drop in full on November 14, will be completed by the yet-to-be-released track, The Day That I Die, which has been leaving audiences in floods of tears during live shows.
Despite his signature brooding ballads, Lewis has hinted at a sunnier direction for his next album.
Speaking to Scott Mills on BBC Radio 2, he said, “I would like to start making happy music. News flash, breaking news. Next album I am doing, it’s happy. It’s happy, happy stuff.”
After a triumphant return to Glastonbury this summer, two years after cutting short a set due to his Tourette syndrome struggles, he is gearing up for a massive 2026.
Highlights include headlining The Isle of Wight Festival, two nights at Marlay Park in Dublin, and BST Hyde Park, along with shows across Leeds, Limerick, Exeter, Cardiff, Belfast, and Manchester.
