Bad Bunny, who is set to headline the upcoming Super Bowl Halftime Show, stole the spotlight on a night to remember in Miami.
The 31-year-old global superstar, Benito Ocasio, was crowned Top Latin Artist of the 21st Century at the 2025 Billboard Latin Music Awards.
Notably, the moment became emotional when Puerto Rican screen legend Rita Moreno walked on stage to present him with the honour.
The crowd erupted as the 93-year-old actress praised the superstar for his “strength and passion,” hailing him as a beacon of Latin pride.
A stunned Bad Bunny rose from his seat to join the Hollywood icon on stage, where the two shared a heartwarming dance to Baile Inolvidable, creating one of the night’s most unforgettable moments.
Fighting back tears, the MONACO singer said, “I accept this award with pride because I know how hard I’ve worked — and I’ll always stay the same.”
He dedicated the win to fellow Latin artists “who dream of being here.”
The award celebrates his unmatched dominance on the Billboard Latin charts, with all four of his recent albums topping the Billboard 200.
Beyond music, he’s become a cultural powerhouse, breaking barriers in fashion, film, and sport, and gearing up to make history as the first-ever Latin male solo artist to headline the 2026 Super Bowl Halftime Show.
