Demi Lovato, widely recognised for their electrifying performances, has once again set fans buzzing with a sizzling new show.
The 33-year-old singer, who first rose to fame with the Disney Channel movie Camp Rock in 2008 and its hit song This Is Me, has proven that pop and rock can happily coexist.
On Wednesday, Lovato took to the BBC Radio 1 Live Lounge and delivered a jaw-dropping mash-up of Lady Gaga’s latest Mayhem tracks.
Backed by a full band and a trio of dancers, they opened with the industrial grit of Disease, giving the chorus a raw rock edge.
The real magic, however, came mid-performance, when she seamlessly transitioned into the electro-grunge anthem Perfect Celebrity, blending the two tracks for an epic finale that had listeners swooning.
A longtime Gaga fan, the Let It Go crooner has been vocal about their admiration for the pop icon.
Earlier this year, they shared a TikTok lip-syncing to How Bad Do U Want Me, and recently described the 39-year-old pop star as a “dream collaborator.”
The Live Lounge set wasn’t just about the Bloody Marry singer, Lovato also treated fans to a live rendition of Here All Night from their upcoming pop album, It’s Not That Deep, dropping this Friday.
Demi Lovato’s longest and most high-profile relationship was with actor Wilmer Valderrama.
The pair started dating in 2010 and maintained an on-and-off relationship for around six years, finally parting ways in 2016.
