Ed Sheeran’s sweet school surprise wins hearts online

Pop megastar Ed Sheeran, known for his chart-topping hits, has swapped stadiums for school desks, and fans can’t get enough of it.

The 34-year-old singer melted hearts after appearing on Celebrity Substitute, where he surprised a group of Brooklyn elementary students with an impromptu music lesson that quickly turned into a full-blown jam session.

The viral video shows Sheeran, dressed casually in jeans and a hoodie, leading a classroom of wide-eyed kids through a mini concert. 

Notably, he used his signature loop pedal to build beats with the children, a clever nod to his live performance style.

What starts as a gentle acoustic rendition of his hit Photograph soon transforms into a hilarious, high-energy “tooth-brushing” song featuring sax riffs, desk drums, and a chorus of giggling voices.

By the end, even the teachers couldn’t resist joining in on the fun.

The clip quickly went viral online, with fans praising Sheeran’s easygoing charm and genuine love for teaching. 

One fan gushed in the comments, “Why is Ed so good at teaching?! Legend!” while another wrote, “Ed was so kind and sweet with all the kids.”

Earlier this year, he dropped his single Azizam in April, marking the start of his new album era with Play.

His most recent release, Camera, arrived in September, and he also contributed a track titled Drive to the soundtrack of F1: The Movie, released in June.
