Jennifer Aniston, who’s currently making headlines for her whirlwind romance with wellness coach Jim Curtis, has shared a major throwback moment from her life.

The 56-year-old actress, best known for her iconic role as Rachel Green on Friends (1994–2004), revealed the hilariously down-to-earth request she made after the sitcom turned her into a household name.

During an appearance on the Armchair Expert podcast, she recalled approaching Warren Littlefield, then-president of NBC, to ask for some “actor treats” to celebrate the show’s success.

“I said, ‘Will you please give me a washer and a dryer?’ And he wrote that down on a napkin,” Aniston shared, laughing.

“I kept hearing that other actors were getting cars and fancy gifts, so I asked, ‘Where’s mine?’”

Her cheeky request clearly paid off, as The Break-Up star eventually got her “very expensive” wish granted.

Despite her massive success, she admitted her journey in Hollywood wasn’t always easy.

Speaking at The Hollywood Reporter’s Drama Actress Roundtable alongside Nicole Kidman and Jodie Foster, she confessed, “I was a terrible auditioner. I waitressed forever before I finally got something.”

The Morning Show star also emphasised that there are limits to what she’d do for a role, saying she would never agree to perform an intimate scene during a chemistry test.

What is the story of 'Friends'?

Friends is an American sitcom that follows the lives of six close-knit friends; Rachel, Ross, Monica, Chandler, Joey, and Phoebe, as they navigate love, careers, and friendship in New York City.

The series begins when Rachel Green, a runaway bride, reunites with her high-school friend Monica Geller and moves into her apartment.

Over ten seasons, the group experiences countless ups and downs, from Ross and Rachel’s on-and-off romance, Monica and Chandler’s unexpected love story, and Joey’s acting struggles, to Phoebe’s adventures and the group’s constant hangouts at Central Perk café.

Friends became one of the most beloved TV shows of all time, celebrated for its witty dialogue and the deep bond shared by its characters.

Why did Netflix remove 'Friends'?

Netflix removed Friends because the streaming rights were acquired by HBO Max (now called Max), which became the exclusive home for the series starting in 2020.
