Hayden Panettiere makes shocking confession about her sexuality

Hayden Panettiere finally makes shocking confession about her personal life in her upcoming memoir, This Is Me: A Reckoning.

In her latest interview with US Weekly, the Nashville actress opens up that she’s bisexual and why she has kept it hidden until now.

“That’s something about me I was never able to share with the world because it was just never the right time,” says the 36-year-old.

Hayden points out that she was always “being forced to be perfect at all times” and never got the opportunity to be herself.

However, there came a period when people from her industry started coming out, notably women.

“They were bisexual or liked girls,” which eventually became a fad.

The Heroes alum admits that she “was afraid that if I was honest it was going to be like me jumping on the bandwagon”.

“It was a very difficult topic to articulate properly,” she remarks.

Hayden adds that it’s sad she had to wait until she was in her late 30s to disclose that part of her.

Meanwhile, the actress' forthcoming memoir will hit the bookstores on May 14.
