'SNL' mic malfunction brings out scathing Sabrina Carpenter fans

Sabrina Carpenter’s Saturday Night Live hosting debut is finally out, and one of the skits had a technical issue that has brought out her staunch supporters.

The Nobody’s Son singer appeared in multiple sketches, including the one with Domingo and another one in which the blondie gives women a seminar on ‘girl bossing.’

In the skit, the Short n' Sweet hit maker dances with two guys, who accidentally send he out of a window while doing a trick, after which she gets a concussion and becomes increasingly incoherent, but only one woman realises this.

It seems that at some point in the broadcast, Sabrina’s mic malfunctioned but she kept saying her lines, with her mic recovering shortly after.

However, the moment was all fans needed to show off that they have the 26-year-old’s back as they took to social media to jokingly take jabs at SNL.

“Who cut off Sabrina's mic in the middle of the skit???? They tryna sabotage my girl,” one internet user wrote, while another added, “Sabrina's mic went out. Wish we could've heard what she was saying.”

A third netizen added, “Brief mic problem. Can't recall ever seeing that before,” while a fourth simply said “Rip the mic omg.”
