Sir David Attenborough, who is known for his long-running career, was honoured at the Daytime Emmy Awards before he turns 100 next year.
The 99-year-old became the oldest winner of the prestigious award, breaking the record set by Dick Van Dyke.
Sir David was recognised for daytime personality, non-daily for hosting Secret Lives of Orangutans on Netflix.
However, he did not attend the ceremony himself or shared any virtual message to express his gratitude.
During his eight-decade long career, the notable personality served as a writer, host and narrator. Earlier, Dick won as a guest performer for his appearance in Days of Our Lives.
Jonathan Jackson was honoured for his role in General Hospital, which dominated the award show in seven categories.
In the early days of his career, the biologist explored the natural world, later shifting his focus towards the environmental problems.
He rose to fame by hosting Zoo Quest in 1954, his documentary series The Life Collection, the Planet Earth Franchise and The Blue Planet.
The famous broadcaster was first knighted by Queen Elizabeth in 1985 and received prestigious Knight Grand Cross by Prince Charles in 2022.
He was recognised for “service in a foreign country, or in relation to foreign and Commonwealth affairs.”
