Spotify video podcasts will soon be available on Netflix under a new partnership between the two streaming platforms.

The collaboration will bring a curated selection of shows from Spotify Studios and The Ringer to Netflix’s catalogue, with The Bill Simmons Podcast, The Zach Lowe Show, The McShay Show, The Rewatchables, and Conspiracy Theories among the initial titles.

Launching in early 2026 for U.S. audiences, the feature will later roll out to other markets as the partnership grows.

The move comes amid the rising popularity of video podcasts, with YouTube currently dominating the space. Netflix co-CEO Ted Sarandos had previously hinted at the idea in April 2025, citing the medium’s growing demand.

“At Netflix, we’re always looking for new ways to entertain our members,” said Lauren Smith, Netflix VP of content licensing and programming strategy. “This curated selection adds fresh voices and new perspectives to Netflix, making our lineup more exciting than ever.”

Spotify’s VP and head of podcasts, Roman Wasenmüller, repeated the idea, calling it “a new chapter for podcasting.” He added, “Together with Netflix, we’re expanding discovery and giving fans a chance to experience the stories they love in a whole new way.”
