Eddie Murphy, who is known for his comedy, dominated the entertainment industry with his unhinged humour that is considered very distinctive.
As the 64-year-old actor harbours a long-standing career of nearly five decades, Eddie is being honoured for his contribution and outstanding performance.
It was announced by Netflix that a new documentary based on his life is all set to release in November, titled Being Eddie.
The new project features several A-list actors who have come together to describe The Pickup star’s life-long career.
The Netflix’s official synopsis noted there is only “one Eddie Murphy” who was a 17-year-old teenager when he “shared a stage with Jerry Seinfeld” and became a “cast of Saturday Night Live right out of high school.”
It was pointed out that he alone is the Hollywood star who has taken up varied roles of “a cop, a doctor, and a donkey."
For the first look, the streaming giant shared several pictures of the legend from different phases of his life, including his childhood photograph with a puppet and one from his dressing room.
The upcoming original, directed by two-time Oscar winner Angus Wall, gathers celebrities like Jamie Foxx, Dave Chappelle, Tarcee Ellis Ross and Reginald Hudlin to honour the comedian.
Being Eddie will be available on the platform on November 12.
