Victoria Beckham, fresh off the success of her brand-new Netflix documentary series Victoria Beckham, is already sending fans into a frenzy with her latest announcement.

The 51-year-old fashion icon, formerly known as Posh Spice, has announced a long-awaited reunion with her former Spice Girls bandmates.

She is officially reuniting with Geri Halliwell, Melanie Brown, Melanie Chisholm, and Emma Bunton for an upcoming animated project titled The Spice Girls.

This marks the group’s first full collaboration in more than a decade, since their iconic 2012 London Olympics performance that thrilled millions around the world.

The project, now listed in pre-production on IMDb, will see all five members return as superhero versions of their legendary alter egos, Posh, Ginger, Scary, Sporty, and Baby Spice.

Though details about the plot and release date are still under wraps, excitement is already building across social media as fans celebrate what could be the band’s biggest reunion in years.

Notably, this comes shortly after Victoria’s glittering Netflix premiere at The Curzon Mayfair on October 8, where she walked the red carpet with husband David Beckham and their children.

While eldest son Brooklyn was notably absent amid rumours of a family rift, her bandmates attended to show their support, with Mel B sending flowers from afar.

Who are the Spice Girls?

The Spice Girls are a British pop group formed in the mid-1990s, consisting of Victoria Beckham (Posh), Geri Halliwell (Ginger), Melanie Brown (Scary), Melanie Chisholm (Sporty), and Emma Bunton (Baby).

They became global icons with their debut single Wannabe in 1996, promoting a message of “Girl Power” and inspiring a generation.

Reportedly, the group sold over 100 million records worldwide, becoming one of the best-selling girl bands in history.
