Nicki Minaj’s feud with Jay-Z appears to have escalated to a very serious degree as the singer threatens to cancel her album.
The Good Form singer is quite active on her X (formerly Twitter) and often takes jabs at the Why I Love You singer on the platform but her latest remarks affected her fans the most.
In the statement, the ‘Queen of Rap’ revealed that she would not be releasing her next album after fans had been patiently waiting for a new album since Pink Friday 2 in 2023.
Nicki wrote,” Ok I’m not going to put out the album anymore. No more music. Hope you’re happy now,” tagging Jay-Z.
“Bye, Barbz. Love you for life,” she continued with an image of two versions of her with signature oink wigs walking down the street.
However, it seems like the Barbie Dreams singer will be releasing the unnamed album on March 27, 2026 as per her recent address after hosting a space on X.
A fan wrote under the tweet about her space that she got really excited during it about the new music, which seemed to bring out a younger version of her.
Nicki responded to the commenter that she couldn’t help but get excited over it, indicating that she would still be releasing the new music.
Nicki has been involved in the music industry longer, which could be why she is more popular and has a larger following on social media.
