Joji has finally served his fans with new music after his fourth studio album Smithereens, which came out on November 4, 2022.
The fourth album was a hit with over 3 billion streams and was gold certified by The Recording Industry Association of America (RIAA) in the US.
The now released single has been making fans go feral as their favourite artist has returned.
The single, PIXELATED KISSES was released on YouTube by the Japanese-Australian singer on October 14 after dropping many hints.
The song contains Joji’s signature vocals with ‘rage trap beat’, gaining positive remarks from fans and critics.
The fans already had their suspicions as the crooner was sighted with other artists and going to their studio.
Joji also gave a major hint by changing his profile photo on his social media including, TikTok, Instagram, YouTube, X (formerly Twitter), and Facebook, indicating that the new era is about to begin.
The recently released song is written, produced, and recorded solely by the Glimpse of Us hitmaker.
Another thing noticed by his fans is that the artist released the song independently, unlike his other projects which were launched under the label, 88rising.
It is speculated by the fans that this song might be the leading single of the upcoming anticipated album that might be released in 2026.
