American singer Taylor Swift 'The Fate Of Ophelia' tops charts week after release of 12th album
Taylor Swift’s 12th studio album, The Life Of A Showgirl, broke its own records after releasing on October 3, 2025.
Although the Grammy winner’s tracks The Fate Of Ophelia and Opalite dethroned KPop Demon Hunters’ track Golden after it spent three months on No#1.
According to reports, the movie track is back in Top 3 on Spotify daily charts (global) as it continues its battle against the much-anticipated record by the pop sensation.
Golden now sits right below Opalite with nearly 8 million streams in total; however, it stayed on the Billboard 200 charts for 15 weeks.
On the other hand, the Lover crooner's new album broke Adele’s record, being the most-sold in the United States.
Moreover, Taylor's melodies have broken modern-era record for being most sold within a week in the United States.
Despite topping charts, the newly-released songs are being criticised for its "cringe" lyrics and not being up to the mark.
