Zara Larsson confirms collaboration with Shakira on new album

Zara Larsson decided to continue the whimsy with her new album after successfully reviving her fame from 2010s.

The 28-year-old singer released a Barbie-inspired trailer for Midnight Sun: Girls Trip which will be releasing on May 1, 2026.

For the update, she called Paris Hilton to confirm who is tagging along on their girls-only trip.

Zara shared that she is planning to pay her a visit with “some friends,” including Khelani, PinkPantheress, Malibu & Helena Gao.

The Lush Crush crooner stated that the fashion diva is “gonna love my girl Eli” before announcing: “Robyns in hot.”

After revealing Madison Beer and Bambii as collaborators, she announced: “Shakira… she’s definitely coming!” Paris called this an “iconic” moment.

Moreover, Emilia, Tyla, JT and Margo XS are also included in the new project.

The online community were left shocked after the list was released with one critic noting: “I’m supposed to hate her but I’m gagged rn.”

The deluxe version will have 10 tracks, bringing major dance-pop energy with songs like Blue Moon, Pretty Ugly, Midnight Sun and others.
