Reese Witherspoon reveals her surprising political ambitions

Would you vote for your favorite Legally Blonde for the next president? Actress Reese Witherspoon revealed some of her surprising political aspirations during a podcast interview on Monday.

The Oscar-winning actress hinted that she is prepared to run for a possible political role for Congress or maybe even president.

On an episode of the Smartless podcast, Witherspoon said that she is also prepared to run for administrative center down the road… say, in 2040.

Podcast co-host Jason Bateman asked her if she’s excited by pursuing executive paintings. Witherspoon answered, “I mean, I wouldn’t say never because I don’t know where I’m going to be when I’m, you know, 65.”

Witherspoon defined why she’s no longer ruling out a long term possibility in politics. She additionally explained why it is a motive on the subject of her middle. “I think we need better representation and balance,” Witherspoon mentioned.

“Women are 50 percent of the population, but we’re not 50 percent of the representation in government, which is bizarre, particularly when they’re adjudicating over our bodies.”

The 44-year-old Wild actress added, “And the lack of representation of people of color, who make up a large, almost majority of this country. What about balance, you know? Just yin and yang. Male, female balance.”
