Ed Sheeran hilariously responds to Taylor Swift’s engagement snub

Ed Sheeran has confirmed the real reason behind him finding out about his good friend Taylor Swift’s engagement to Travis Kelce via social media, after she came out with her side of the story.

The Shape Of You singer had recently made waves on the internet after he confessed that his Everything Has Changed collaborator did not call him to share the exciting news that she had gotten engaged.

In her latest appearance on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon during a confusing segment called ‘That’s so true’ with a subtle nod to the Clean singer’s favourite Gracie Abrams song, the host and the guest chatted about the snub.

Taylor stated that she had a perfect explanation for the entire ordeal, revealing that Ed doesn’t have a phone, which makes it difficult to get in touch with him.

The 14-time Grammy winner also added that when she went through all the people she contacted in the past month, his name didn’t pop up so she missed out on contacting him.

“You have to email him, if you want to set up a FaceTime, he has to find an iPad. They have to give it to him like he’s a child that you give the iPad to,” the End Game singer said about the Perfect hit maker.

Ed ended up responding in a comment on social media, writing “Hello from my allotted iPad time, this is factual.”

Notably, the two likely recently connected in person at Selena Gomez’s wedding last month.
