Ed Sheeran hints 'STOP' might not be his final record

Ed Sheeran, known for his chart-topping hits, has teased a major update for his fans.

The 34-year-old singer, who rose to fame with hits like Shape of You, Castle on the Hill, and Perfect, has hinted that his upcoming album STOP might not be his "retirement record."

Sheeran. who released his eighth studio album Play last month, revealed he still wants to make music beyond the planned series of records.

“I feel like I have 10 big statement campaign records to do,” he told the Daily Star.

Furthermore, the Photograph hitmaker also warned fellow stars, including Oasis and Sir Rod Stewart, 80, against relying on teleprompters during concerts, calling it a “slippery slope” that can make musicians forget their own hits.

Reflecting on his past, he admitted the first decade of his career left him “intensely unhappy” due to a total lack of personal life. 

Now, married to Cherry Seaborn with daughters Lyra, five, and Jupiter, three, he says family comes first.

“The stage I am at now, I’m really happy and settled,” he said. “Being able to balance being a dad and a husband — that’s my real success.”

When did Ed Sheeran get married?

Ed Sheeran tied the knot with Cherry Seaborn in January 2019 in a private and intimate ceremony, keeping the details largely out of the public eye.
