Louis Tomlinson has opened up about creating his new album and the team he worked with.
The One Direction star went solo music route after the band went on hiatus in 2015.
Speaking of his third upcoming album How Did I Get Here?, Louis opened up about the writing process.
The singer said that a songwriting trip to Costa Rica led him to his "breezy" new album.
When asked to describe his new album in emojis, he said “lemon”, “a drink” and “sunflower” explain the album well.
While his previous album, Faith in future, was “mildly dark”, this is different sonically.
While doing a cover story for the Rolling Stone UK, Louis said “I hope it feels like a reflection of how confident I am, but breezy is a real nice way of putting it.”
“It’s been a long time since, professionally and personally, I’ve been able to have a little spring in my step. So, hopefully that comes across in the record.”, he added.
Louis’ new team includes Nico Rebscher, David Sneddon and Theo Hutchcraft which he said is a team that makes him feel confident.
“What it does for me is build up a lot of trust and confidence in the people that I’m working with”, the singer said.
The Walls singer also hinted a rumoured collaboration with former bandmate Zayn Malik but did not reveal any details.
