Louis Tomlinson’s partner Zara McDermott has come under fire after recent project.
The British TV star was in Thailand working on a documentary, where she also landed in trouble with police.
Zara has been working on her three-parter on BBC Three, titled Thailand: The Dark Side of Paradise.
It has been reported that some BBC viewers are unhappy with the depiction of Thailand in her documentary.
The criticism comes after the trailer was shared on Instagram which featured Zara t visiting bustling cities like Bangkok and island hopping around the area.
The TV star can be seen drinking in “hedonistic parties”. She also converses with a man who describes it as “like Benidorm on steroids, cheap, cheerful, full of women.”
Previously, it was revealed how Zara and her crew were almost arrested in one of Bangkok’s red light districts which is also featured in the trailer.
She explained that the threats came despite them having the permission to film.
One viewer commented on the trailer calling it “deeply disappointing”.
Another wrote, “Thailand, a country heavily reliant on tourism, deserves more responsible and balanced reporting.”
