Leonardo DiCaprio, famously known as Hollywood’s golden boy, surprised fans with a shocking revelation about his career.
The 50-year-old actor, best known for hits like Titanic, revealed that he is now being far more selective about the projects he takes on.
Leonardo insisted there was no way he would turn down the opportunity to work with acclaimed director Paul Thomas Anderson.
The Oscar-winning actor, who turned 50 in November, told PEOPLE: “When these opportunities come up, I can’t say no.'
"Ever since I saw Boogie Nights, I’ve been an obsessive fan of Paul’s work. His films ruminate in my mind," he added.
Furthermore, the Inception star stated that while awards and box office success may come and go, it is those lasting pieces of art that actors truly strive for.
His latest role sees him star in One Battle After Another, playing a washed-up revolutionary forced out of hiding when his daughter is kidnapped.
The film has already caught the attention of Steven Spielberg, who branded it “insane” at a Q&A in Los Angeles.
