Jennie Garth on Armchair Expert podcast reveals divorce low point

Jennie Garth looked back on the tragic day she had to understand her marriage to Peter Facinelli was gone.

The couples therapist posed her a horrible question that the 54-year-old American actress could never forget.

The ex-Beverly Hills, 90210 artist and the Twilight star were married since 2001 till 2013 when they divorced. 

Garth told Dax Shepard on the podcast, Armchair Expert, that she was gutted by what the therapist said.

She recounted the question her counsellor rephrased thrice, "We sat down and honestly two minutes into it she said, 'Jenny, why would you want to love someone when they don't love you?"

Garth left the session in a very emotional mood to the extent that the therapist and Facinelli had to seek her out, located her and brought her to a hotel. 

She then combined alcohol with a drug went to sleep and later woke up in a hospital.

Moreover, she shared, "I passed out on the floor and I had my best friend on the phone with me, I think while that was happening. So she knew I was in danger."

Garth and Facinelli have three daughters, Luca, 28, Lola, 23 and Fiona, 19. 

The Mystery Girls star is now remarried. In 2019, Facinelli also got married to actress Lily Anne Harrison.
