American right-wing media personality Charlie Kirk was fatally shot on September 10.

The 31-year-old was a political activist and podcaster who was a key supporter of US President Donald Trump.

On September 12, the suspect was caught and revealed by FBI as 22-year-old Tyler Robinson.

The authorities investigating the killing have uncovered an interesting link between the incident and an iconic cultural phenomenon.

Utah Governor Spencer Cox revealed that the person of interest was caught and authorities recovered bullets used in the attack.

The bullet casings included a bullet that ore inscriptions of lyrics from Bella Ciao, a historic Italian protest song.

Netflix’s hit show Money Heist rose to global fame in 2017 which featured the song as a crucial component of the show.

The words on the bullet casing were particularly from the chorus of the song that read “O bella ciao, bella ciao, bella ciao, ciao, ciao”.

Charlie was often criticised for his conservative beliefs and his stance supporting right to keep and bear arms.

The late activist was married to Erika and had two children together, a three-year old daughter and one-year-old son.
