Sir Elton John 'ended up in a cast' after eyesight loss

Sir Elton, who is known for creating several chart-topping hit tracks, suffered a health scare earlier this year after losing his vision partially.

In recent turn of events, the 78-year-old shared pictures of himself bedridden in what appeared to be hospital, surrounded with flower bouquets.

The British singer revealed in the caption of an Instagram post that he “rocked too hard… ended up in a cast!!”

However, this setup was for “new film, Spinal Tap II, and album” that are out, which features the singer on “Listen To The Flower People” and “Stonehenge.”

Fans rushed to the comment section as one user wrote about the jump scare: “I’m at the airport and my heart sank so quickly.”

Another “scared” fan admitted: “It took me a hot second to realize that this is for spinal tap 2,” while a netizen pointed out: “What’s important is you’re okay, Elton.”

It is to be noted that Elton’s fans were terrified to see him in a bedridden condition as he previously had a health scare after contacting a viral infection.

The illness took away most of his eyesight.
