Kim and Khloé Kardashian, no strangers to online backlash, have once again found themselves in hot water.
The Keeping Up With the Kardashians alums have come under fire after flaunting a controversial health treatment that is banned in the US.
The reality stars sparked outrage when they posted about undergoing muse stem cell therapy in Mexico.
Kim revealed she opted for the procedure after tearing her shoulder during weight training.
She gushed that the treatment gave her back “full range of motion” and even eased her “chronic back pain.”
The 50-year-old SKIMS founder went on to call it a “game-changer.”
Khloé, meanwhile, praised the therapy for helping with inflammation and her overall wellbeing, but fans were quick to point out the glaring problem.
The pricey treatment isn’t legal in the States, and the fact the famous sisters jetted abroad to access it left many followers fuming.
Fans filled the comment section with furious reactions, with one angrily saying, “As a regular person, I tore my shoulder two years ago and still have problems. Why are you selling us something we can’t afford?”
Another fumed, “We’re barely trying to afford groceries.”
Others accused the pair of flaunting their privilege.
“Using stem cells to recover from a workout is the most egregious thing ever,” blasted one.
For many, it was yet another reminder that the Kardashians live in a very different world, where luxury medicine is just another Instagram post.
