Kanye West, who is married with model Bianca Censori, suffered a blow after losing significant person from his team before he drops his album.
Although the 48-year-old rapper was expected to be working on his album In a Perfect World, but Kanye’s ghostwriter released a shocking statement.
Dave Blunts, who worked with Ye on Cousins, revealed his private conversation with the rapper.
The 23-year-old musician admitted he “can no longer continue to work on this album” as he is pursuing his “own journey.”
According to Dave, his new path “does not align with” the Yeezy owner’s requirements, announcing he is “respectfully” out.
While the alleged response from the Heartless rapper read: “What are the parts that didn’t align,” Dave seemingly ignored the question and replied with “You are very lost… Please find god.”
The songwriter is credited for writing lyrics of Kanye’s controversial tracks. He once admitted that the two “would talk for hours” while the Purple Stuff hitmaker would write “three songs in a day.”
After facing this setback, it is expected that his 13th studio album will face delay which was otherwise highly anticipated.
However, his 12th studio record will be reportedly dropping on September 26, 2025.
The announcement, made on a live stream in April 2025, initially did not include any details about the release date.
With the young musician’s withdraw, it remains uncertain how would the I Wonder hitmaker complete the pending project.
