The Billboard Top R&B/Hip-Hop Artists of the 21st Century list has been released, and internet users are bashing the platform for it.

In the list of singers, Drake places number one, with Beyonce The Weeknd being respective runners-up.

The platform notes that the artists are placed in their particular spots after their performance was charted on a weekly basis extensively from 2000 to 2024.

Since the list snubs the Hotline Bling singer’s rap rival, Kendrick Lamar as well as Kanye West (who now goes by Ye), and even Jay-Z, who are widely regarded as the best rappers of the generation, netizens are unhappy.

The Roc Nation owner was put in the 7th spot, meanwhile the other two didn’t even make top 10.

“This chart is bullshit,” wrote one internet user on X (formerly known as Twitter) on the post made by the platform.

Kendrick over Kanye is blasphemy,” another added, while a third commented, “Post Malone higher than Nicki?”

A fourth simply penned, “Fire who made this list,” echoing the sentiments of all those that disapproved of the list.

What spot did Kendrick Lamar’s ‘Luther’ hold for Billboard?

Luther had topped the Billboard Hot 100 for 13 straight weeks and climbed to number 15 on the list of all-time longest-leading hits on the charts earlier this year.
