Ariana Grande, Cynthia Erivo reunite ahead of 'Wicked: For Good' premiere

Ariana Grande delighted fans after she shared a photo of a reunion with Cynthia Erivo two months before the premiere of their sequel, Wicked: For Good.

The 32-year-old singer has been actively teasing her upcoming musical film since the beginning of August, and this time her co-star joined in.

Taking to her Instagram on August 24, Grande posted a series of pictures with Erivo as they enjoyed each other’s presence.

The Side to Side hitmaker dazzled in a light pink strapless gown while the 38-year-old actress glowed in a floor-length black dress, accessorised with diamond earrings.

Netizens rushed to the comment section to express their excitement at the long-awaited reunion. One fan wrote, “Reunited and it feels so spell-tacular.” Another well-wisher penned, “These pictures just made my day!”

Notably, Grande and Erivo will lead the sequel Wicked: For Good, reprising their roles as Glinda and Elphaba, respectively.

Director John M. Chu returned as the director for the second instalment, as well as the supporting cast members, which include Jonathan Bailey, Ethan Slater, and Jeff Goldblum.

For the unversed, the first film, Wicked, ended with Elphaba, played by Erivo, running away from the Wizard’s guards as Glinda helps her escape.

In the sequel, fans will see Elphaba living as the Wicked Witch of the West after being exiled, while Glinda revels in her popularity in the Emerald City.

Wicked: For Good will arrive in theatres worldwide on November 21, 2025.
