James Gunn’s DC Studios delighted fans by sharing an exclusive first look of Supergirl: Woman of Tomorrow, featuring Milly Alcock.
On August 21, while recapping the first season during the premiere of Season 2, the camera shows the Justice Gang lined up in front of Peacemaker.
The group included Superman, Mister Terrific, Green Lantern, Hawkgirl and Alcock, as Supergirl floating in the air on the far right side of the shot.
Though the shot was blurry and didn’t quite make out Alcock’s features, it was enough to excite the fans.
Taking to X (formerly Twitter), the studio shared the clip along with the caption, “June 26, 2026, can’t arrive soon enough.” Referring to the release date for Supergirl: Woman of Tomorrow.
Netizens rushed to the comment section to express their excitement about the superhero cameo. One fan wrote, “She looks so good.” Another follower penned, “I love that Kara was featured in Peacemaker.”
Notably, Gunn answered the query of fans who were eager to know if the Super family was part of the Justice Gang. He replied that Kara and Clark are not part of the Gang, but they do team up a lot, like they did in Superman.
For the unversed, Supergirl: Woman of Tomorrow will feature Kara Zor-El as she celebrates her 21st birthday and fights DC’s most notorious villain, Lobo, played by Jason Momoa.
As of now, no official pictures have been released from the set yet, as the film is currently in production. Netizens are speculating that Gunn will release the trailer in early 2026.
Supergirl: Woman of Tomorrow is scheduled for release on July 26, 2026
