HBO has announced more casting updates for the upcoming Harry Potter TV series, confirming the actors who will portray the rest of the Weasley children.

Tristan Harland will play Fred Weasley, Gabriel Harland takes on George Weasley, Ruari Spooner will portray Percy Weasley, and Gracie Cochrane has been cast as Ginny Weasley.

Previously, Alastair Stout was confirmed to play Ron Weasley, Harry Potter’s best friend, while Dominic McLaughlin will step into the role of the boy who lived. Arabella Stanton has been cast as Hermione Granger.

The Weasley matriarch, Molly, will be played by Katherine Parkinson, though casting for father Arthur and eldest brother Charlie has not yet been announced.

The series, one of the most highly anticipated shows of the decade, is set to stream in 2027.

The Weasleys were central to both the books and the original films, and fans have been eager to learn who would bring them to life in the reboot.

Fred, George, and Percy each play significant roles throughout the books, while Ginny becomes especially central in The Chamber of Secrets before eventually marrying Harry Potter.

The high-profile HBO adaptation has already revealed part of its adult cast, with Paapa Essiedu set to play potions master Severus Snape, John Lithgow as headmaster Albus Dumbledore, Janet McTeer as Minerva McGonagall, and Nick Frost as Rubeus Hagrid.

The series is written and executive produced by Francesca Gardiner, with Mark Mylod attached to direct multiple episodes. Produced by HBO in association with Brontë Film and TV and Warner Bros. Television.

The project also lists J.K. Rowling, Neil Blair, and Ruth Kenley-Letts of Brontë Film and TV, as well as David Heyman of Heyday Films, as executive producers.
