Marvel Cinematic Universe’s Thunderbolts, which have introduced New Avengers for Phase 5, will be ready to stream on Disney+ this month.
The first instalment of Phase 5 of The Multiverse Saga, Thunderbolts, was directed by Jake Schreier, with a screenplay by Eric Pearson and Joanna Calo.
After giving Marvel fans a new experience with a new team and cast in theatres in Aug. 2023, fans have been waiting to stream the movie on Disney+.
Finally, the news is out! Marvel Studios has announced that Thunderbolts will officially start streaming on Disney+ on Aug. 27.
The movie was a flop at the box office globally, earning $382.4 million worldwide, with $190.2 million from the domestic market and $192.1 million internationally.
However, as they have been marketed as the New Avengers, it would not be surprising if the MCU anti-hero film becomes a big hit on Disney+.
Moreover, there’s no official news about the sequel to Thunderbolts, but the cast will not be forgotten as they are filming the highly anticipated Avengers: Doomsday, with Anthony and Joe Russo.
The under-production MCU movie will be the Phase 6 instalment, set to release on Dec. 18, 2026.
Perhaps, Thunderbolts cast members expected in Avengers: Doomsday will hopefully make the movie a successful stream on Disney+.
