Anne Hathaway films alongside new costar for 'The Devil Wears Prada 2'

Anne Hathaway returned to the set of Devil Wears Prada 2 to film alongside a new co-star, Kenneth Branagh.

On August 15, The Daily Mail shared photos from shoot location of the sequel, which showcased the renowned Hollywood actress pleading with Branagh.

The 42-year-old star wore a chic black top, high-waisted jeans and an oversized raincoat. She was seen standing outside a New York townhouse before Branagh’s character angrily turned her away.

Notably, the 64-year-old joined the cast as Mirinda Priestly’s husband and was seen for the first time shooting his scene.

The news comes hours after Emily Blunt was spotted with a new hairdo to reprise her role as Emily Charlton. She rocked an ash-blonde bob while heading towards the set.

However, Blunt was spotted with her signature red locks on the set, which fans speculate will be changed in the film as part of her character’s transformation.

For the unversed, Devil Wears Prada 2 will follow Meryl Streep’s iconic character Miranda Priestly as she attempts to steer her magazine, Runway, from print to digital. She comes to a crossroads with Emily Charlton, who is now an executive.

The feature will bring back fan-favourite leads like Stanley Tucci, Emily Blunt and Meryl Streep, additional cast members, Simone Ashley and Pauline Chalamet.

As of now, Devil Wears Prada 2 is currently in production and the iconic movie is set to be released on May 1, 2026.
