Taylor Swift disappoint fans with 'horrible' album cover

Taylor Swift, who recently bought back the rights of her master recordings, finally unleashed the cover of her album The Life of A Showgirl.

Although fans were buzzing with excitement, the 35-year-old songstress seemingly failed to impress the music lovers with the artwork.

Sitting alongside Travis Kelce at the New Heights podcast, Taylor took out the record cover from the mint-green briefcase.

The shattered picture featured Taylor dressed in a rhinestone body suit with her face above water.

As soon as the news began to make the rounds, the online community reacted with one X user stating that it was a “horrible cover” and they were “actually surprised her team released this.”

Another netizen couldn't believe that “[Taylor] OKd this, this cover is horrendous” while a third follower noted that “everyone [is] gagging when it’s ugly as hell.”

Many pointed out that it did not resemble her with one questioning: “Did she use her wax figure for this shoot?”

The reveal came after the singer and the NFL star built great anticipation before the episode aired on Wednesday. “All that build up for an absolute mess,” a critic chimed in.

However, her die-hard fans were delighted to see the artwork as they claimed that the Grammy winner is “taking over whole internet.”

Regardless, the album depicts a great shift from her previous styles which indicates that the Lover crooner is coming up with unique music. 

During her surprise appearance, she also revealed the tracklist of the record: The Fate of Ophelia, Elizabeth Taylor, Opalite, Father Figure, Eldest Daughter, Ruin The Friendship, Actually Romantic, Wi$h Li$t, Wood, Cancelled!, Honey, The Life of a Showgirl (featuring Sabrina Carpenter)
