Kelly Clarkson’s ex-husband, Brandon Blackstock seemingly cannot rest in peace as netizens take to condemning his past choices based on a detail from his obituary.

The father-of-two’s eulogy lists a woman as his "beautiful and loving partner in life and business," and it is not the Since U Been Gone singer, but her former production assistant Brittney Marie Jones.

In a tribute post by the associate’s father on Facebook, she was Blackstock’s “soulmate.”

As per Jones’ LinkedIn, she was a production manager for the eight-time Primetime Emmy award winner from 2016 to 2018.

In 2018, she also took on the role of executive management assistant for the late talent manager.

Two years later when Clarkson filed for divorce from Blackstock citing irreconcilable differences, Jones also became the executive assistant for a ranch under the late figure.

After the obituary detail made headlines, internet users flocked to the comments to revisit the divorce between the three-time Grammy winner and her ex-husband.

One netizen candidly wrote “So that’s what happened. An affair,” while another commented, “There you go! Thanks People! Showing the world the truth! Just because someone dies young it doesn’t make them a saint.”

Meanwhile a third added, "Wow. So the rumors were true? Because I heard way back when they first split that Kelly found out he was cheating."

What kind of cancer did Brandon Blackstock have?

As per TMZ, Brandon Blackstock was in hospice and was battling Melanoma, which is a kind of skin cancer.
